1. Classes and Scheduling
Classes are provided online through the platform designated by Adaptiva. Class dates and times are arranged through our scheduling system or directly with Adaptiva.
Students are responsible for attending their scheduled classes on time and ensuring they have a reliable internet connection, appropriate device, and suitable environment for participation.
Class times are subject to instructor availability and may occasionally need to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.
2. Payments
Payment is required before participation in a class unless otherwise agreed in writing by Adaptiva.
All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. Any price change will not affect a class that has already been purchased.
A purchase provides access only to the class or class package specified at the time of purchase.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Students may cancel or reschedule a class at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class may result in the class being considered used and non-refundable.
If a student does not attend a scheduled class without providing appropriate notice (“no-show”), the class may be considered used and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Adaptiva may make reasonable exceptions to this policy in cases of emergencies or other circumstances at our discretion.
4. Refunds
Individual classes: Payments for individual classes are generally non-refundable once the class has taken place.
Unused classes: Refunds for unused classes or class packages may be requested within 7 days of purchase, provided that no classes from the purchase have been used. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method, less any non-refundable payment-processing fees where permitted by law.
Once a class has been attended, that class is considered used and is not eligible for a refund.
Class packages may not be partially refunded after one or more classes have been used, except where required by applicable law or approved by Adaptiva.
Refund requests should be submitted to Adaptiva as soon as possible.
5. Instructor Cancellations
If an instructor is unable to conduct a scheduled class, Adaptiva will make reasonable efforts to provide a substitute instructor or reschedule the class.
If Adaptiva cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the affected class will be rescheduled or refunded.
6. Class Packages and Expiration
If you purchase a class package, the classes must be used within the period specified at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, unused classes may expire after the applicable package period. Expired classes are not eligible for refunds or extensions except where required by applicable law or approved by Adaptiva.
7. Group Classes
For group classes, the full class fee is due regardless of how many students attend the scheduled class. For example, if a class is purchased for four students but only three attend, the purchasing party remains responsible for the full four-student class fee.
When multiple students are participating in a group class, Adaptiva English Studio is not responsible for dividing, collecting, or coordinating payment among participants. The individual who makes the purchase is responsible for arranging payment and reimbursement with the other members of their group.
Adaptiva’s payment relationship is solely with the individual or party who completes the purchase. Any disputes regarding how the cost is divided among group members must be resolved by the purchasing party and the other participants directly.
8. Student Conduct
Students are expected to participate respectfully and appropriately.
Adaptiva reserves the right to remove a student from a class or discontinue services if the student engages in disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.
In such circumstances, refunds are not guaranteed and will be handled at Adaptiva’s discretion, subject to applicable law.
9. Technology and Internet Access
Because classes are conducted online, Adaptiva is not responsible for interruptions caused by a student’s internet connection, device, software, or other technical problems outside Adaptiva’s reasonable control.
If a technical issue on Adaptiva’s side prevents a class from being reasonably completed, Adaptiva will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected class.
10. Educational Services
Adaptiva provides educational and instructional services intended to support students’ English-language development.
While Adaptiva and its instructors will make reasonable efforts to provide effective instruction and support student progress, we do not guarantee a particular grade, test score, level of proficiency, employment outcome, or other specific result.
11. Changes to Services
Adaptiva reserves the right to modify class offerings, instructors, schedules, platforms, pricing, or other aspects of its services.
Changes will not retroactively alter the terms of a purchase that has already been completed, except where necessary to comply with applicable law.
12. Privacy
Personal information provided to Adaptiva will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Students should not share confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information during classes.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adaptiva will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Agreement to These Terms
By checking the box confirming your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not complete your purchase.
